Basic Pistol Class
The Basic Pistol Shooting Course is required in the State of Connecticut to obtain a permit to carry pistols and revolvers. You also need to successfully complete this course to obtain an Eligibility Certificate to purchase a handgun.
Our course exceeds the requirements set forth by the State of Connecticut to obtain your Carry Permit and/or Eligibility Certificate to purchase handguns.

Basic Class Information
Most classes require you to come on more then one day, have your live firing take place outdoors when the weather isn't that great, or even drive to another location to shoot. Not with us. We have a private INDOOR & OUTDOOR range on site. No additional traveling is required. We provide a covered shooting area for bad weather. All students enjoy PRIVATE 1 on 1 shooting. Unlike many courses that have multiple shooters 'sharing' one instructor, you wont find that with us. Regardless of the number of students in your class everyone will shoot with an instructor 1 on 1 so we can focus all our attention on you!
Being an FFL dealer we can also help you out in selecting an purchasing a new firearm. More times then not we will be able to beat any price (even online prices!).
Students need not bring anything to the course except lunch and a valid photo ID. We can except a valid Drivers License or State Issued ID. Certificates of Completion will not be issued to anyone without an ID. Beverages and snacks will be provided.Cost
- $125.00 for regularly scheduled monthly class
- $150.00 for a 1 on 1 private class
- $125.00 per student (two or more) for a private group class
